Met Naqee on the street in the Wicker Park area of Chicago. Selling crafts underneath the CTA Blue Line platform, I approached him to learn more about what he does. He shared that he not only hand-made everything displayed on the craft table, he is also a artist and that this was only a small portion of his creative work; painting being another passion.

Additionally, he excitedly shared how he also uses technology in his art – particularly how he has a chip in his paintings that the buyer can then scan with their mobile phone to watch a video of him when he was actually creating the artwork.
